Aza-Peterson Olefinations: Rapid Synthesis of (E)-Alkenes
نویسندگان
چکیده
Abstract An aza-Peterson olefination methodology to access 1,3-dienes and stilbene derivatives from the corresponding allyl- or benzyltrimethylsilane is described. Silanes can be deprotonated using Schlosser’s base added N-phenyl imines ketones directly give desired products in high yields.

متن کاملOrganocatalytic synthesis of polysubstituted tetrahydrofurans from alkenes†
A novel, organocatalytic and environmentally friendly protocol for the synthesis of polysubstituted tetrahydrofurans from trivial starting materials has been described. By employing 2,2,2-trifluoroacetophenone-mediated oxidation, which utilizes H2O2 as a green oxidant, we introduce a sustainable procedure that embraces the principles of green chemistry for the production of substituted tetrahyd...
متن کاملSynthesis of tetrasubstituted alkenes via metathesis.
Fully substituted olefin generation via metathesis is presented. Catalyst development, optimization of reaction conditions and substrate screening are included. In addition, asymmetric alkene metathesis, the cross metathesis reaction for this transformation and its application in natural products will be discussed.
